January 19th

We went snowshoeing with our friend Melinda. She did most of the work on the way up.

Millcreek Canyon was beautiful and not too cold either. What a perfect day to get outside!

The ride down was a lot more fun (for all of us). My mom could even steer a little.
I fell asleep on the way down and stayed asleep for an hour. I worked hard.

MY FIRST BIRTHDAY!!

Thank you to all of the family and friends that joined us on this special occasion. Look! Even Papa Sid is smiling. It was a great day!

PRESENTS! My cousin Lucy helped me open every gift. She is so thoughtful.

Everyone sang "Happy Birthday" then it was time for cupcakes. I ate about 1/2 of mine a pinchful at a time. My cousin Levi ate the frosting off of at least 5 cupcakes but I'm not sure if Lucy got any in her mouth.

Sledding for the first time

We thought it would be a great day for sledding. It turned out to be 7 degrees so 10 minutes was long enough. Uncle Guns stayed out with me the whole time. Doesn't he look great in my mama's gloves!? Thank you Great Grandma Bob and Papa Sid. I love my sled!!
