For the 24th of July we went to Butler Park just in time to have a little snack...

and see some fireworks! They were set off in a parking lot right in front of us. It was totally awesome!

On the walk back to the car I learned what great handles

papa's ears make.

Horseback Riding at the Cabin

Here I am riding Sailor. I have ridden a pony before, but this was my first time riding a real horse!
I was a little nervous at first (my mom could tell by the death grip I had on her arms) but I quickly warmed up and held on all by myself while papa led me around the field.
